Music returns to Mestalla through VCF Foundation and Berklee Valencia
Music returned to Mestalla this week through Berklee Valencia, an institute for contemporary music and performing arts that offers undergraduate and graduate programs at its Boston, Massachusetts and Valencia campuses, as well as through its Berklee Online distance learning programme.
Thanks to a collaboration agreement between the VCF Foundation and Berklee Valencia, participants in the first international campus in Valencia established by the renowned Berklee College of Music, had the opportunity to step onto the pitch at Mestalla to demonstrate their talent.

Valencia CF president, Anil Murthy, was present at the recording, highlighting that the city of Valencia "is one of art and science. It is the 2022 Design Capital and has a long history of music. We had brass bands playing before games at the stadium before the Covid-19 pandemic hit, and they will return.
"For us, this collaboration is a way of expressing our projection, and looking to the future with creativity and innovation."

Manuel Costa, Director of Institutional Relations and Communication at Berklee Valencia, said that "Valencia CF have over 100 years of history, Berklee have 70 years of history and a successful trajectory worldwide in contemporary music. I think that the two were destined to join together. We are very happy to unite music, sport and -like the president said- innovation. We are trying to invent new things and adapt to these new times."
The recording made on the pitch at Mestalla will be part of the Musaico Festival presented by Berklee, which returns on April 24th.
